Dr Vallen Prest

Welcoming Ceremony at CEM in Inda

Dr. Prest has been active in ministry for over 40 years. A self-described transformational architect, he mentors pastors, staff, and missionaries. He teaches small groups, leads a home church, and writes training curricula. Additionally, he trains national pastors and worship leaders. He has served numerous churches and several states throughout the Midwest as Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor. Upon the completion of his doctorate in theology with an emphasis on worship and spiritual formation, he developed a number of seminars in these areas. In 2010, he felt the call to begin overseas mission efforts. (The picture to the left was captured after a welcoming ceremony at Christ's Evangelical Missions orphanage in India)

He has taught intercultural missions at Grace College and Seminary. By 2014, he was working with missionaries in Italy to address the refugee crisis. The ministry has expanded into one of the few remaining Communist countries. This fall, Dr. Prest will be teaching a new course on Worship Theology at Detroit Bible Insititute.

Dr. Prest has limited openings in his speaking schedule. If you would like him to speak at your church, please contact him at for availability.
